![]() ![]() In general, Vocaloid works fine with Renoise. Use Render(freeze) function in the Vocaloid-Editor to resolve audio-gap issues. Requires a lot of cpu resources and tends to buffer audio in large blocks before transmitting whenever too much cpu resources are required, which may result in a 1~2 seconds audio-gap in the stream before audible output is mixed with the Renoise audio. Resolve this by (temporary) selecting the Directsound driver instead. This may cause Vocaloid not to play triggered audio when Renoise is using the ASIO driver as a master (it however returns audio when Vocaloid is in songplay mode). Vocaloid seems to claim certain audiocard drivers to play back audio triggered by a midi device even though it is in ReWire slave mode. You can only start/stop/reposition the song correctly from the master.īPM is not automatically synchronized and output sounds noisy when BPM is out of sync Either synchronize bpm values manually in both hosts or use the “Import ReWire Host Tempo” function in the job menu inside Vocaloid. Transport control in FL as slave do not work (it moves, but won’t sync with the master any longer). ![]() Loops may be “modified/distorted” by Reaper on some BPMsĬPU usage raises up by 20% and more in Renoise - display problem only Older versions of Reaper (<= Version 2.55) wont sync correctly as slave.īPM has to be manually set/updated in Reaper or Loops are out of sync Loop Jumps might be out of sync for a short while, else it works just fine Reason 4.0.1: Works perfectly with Renoise Reason 4.0.0: Notes played from Reasons internal Sequencer may randomly stop on higher BPMs -> Update to 4.0.1 Repositioning while playback is slow, but works fine when the song is stopped. Please uninstall all other ReWire slaves to use Renoise or update GarageBand. Garageband 3 (iLife 06): With multiple ReWire slaves installed, only one of the slaves will work. Repositioning while playback is slow, but works perfectly when the song is stopped. Loops, set/changed from Renoise, are sometimes neglected or take a long time to be appliedĪll transport controls except Start/Stop (Repositioning, Loops, …) can only be set in Renoise while the playback is stopped.īlock loop sometimes breaks may happen once you move Podium’s loop beyond Renoise’s pattern sequence range Repositioning in Renoise only works when playback is stopped Tempo can only be set in Samplitude, all other transport controls work fine “Sometimes” (really sometimes) Audition can not be repositioned from Renoise Repositioning & changing the Loop can only be done while stopped Transport control in Renoise as slave won’t work. When starting Playback, Renoise may miss notes on the line you are starting fromīPM can only be set in Reaper, all other transport controls work fine You can only control the transport in Orion The transport control in Renoise as slave do not work. Tempo can only be set in ACID, all other transport controls work fine Repositioning and starting/stopping is slow, especially while playback “MU.LAB Free” only supports 1 mono out for ReWired devices When starting Playback from Renoise, Renoise may miss notes on the line you are starting fromĮxcept this, works perfectly with Renoise ![]() Please also have a look at the General ReWire FAQ/HowTo for general info about Renoise & ReWire that applies to all masters/slaves.
